Karama School Presentations

Karama Connection Director, Connie Naber, is passionate about sharing her experience with children and young adults of all ages. Karama has worked with children at The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Cincinnati, Ohio. They raised funds while learning about Tanzania, AIDS and poverty. We are thankful for Lakota Schools under the guide of Art Teacher Joy Hunter for pictures painted by the art class, providing fun auction items for our fundraisers.

Karama Connection is currently working in Arusha, Tanzania. Tanzania is in East Africa on the Indian Ocean. Its area is three times that of New Mexico. Tanzania contains three of Africa's best known lakes — Victoria in the north, Tanganyika in the west, and Nyasa in the south. Mount Kilimanjaro in the north is the highest point on the continent at 19,340 feet.
